Installation Dial-Up adapter in Windows 95/98:
1. Check if you have installation disk Windows 95/98 if not you have to buy it.
2. Close all running applications
3. Open Control panel
4. Double click on Network icon
5. Push the button 'Add'
6. Choose the type Adapter and push 'Add'
7. In the list (Manufacturer) choose Microsoft. In the list Network adapters choose Dial-Up adapter and push 'OK' button
8. Insert Windows installation disk and point the path to it
9. After copying the files it is necessary to reboot the computer
TCP/IP Installation:
. Check if you have installation disk Windows 95/98 if not you have to buy it.
. Close all running applications
. Open Control Panel
. Double click on Network icon
. Choose the type Protocol and push 'Add'
. In the list (Manufacturer) choose Microsoft. In the list Network protocols choose TCP/IP and push 'OK' button
. Insert Windows installation disk and point the path to it
. After copying the files it is necessary to reboot the computer
Dial-Up Network installation:
. Check if you have installation disk Windows 95/98 if not you have to buy it.
. Close all running applications
. Open Control Panel
. Double click Add/Remove programs
. Choose tab Windows setup
. Choose Communication and push the button detail
. Mark Dial-Up Networking and push 'OK' button
. Insert Windows installation disk and point path to it
. After copying the files it is necessary to reboot the computer
Setup Dial-Up Network:
. Close all running applications
. On your Desktop open My Computer
. Open the folder Dial-Up Networking
. Double click Make New Connection icon
. Enter connection name (for example IPTelecom) and choose modem, with which you will make connection, push the 'Next' button, enter Area code (for Kiev 044), provider telephone number (5012112 or 2449555) and the Country (Ukraine). Push the 'Next' button
. Press 'Finish'
. Right click on just created connection (IPTelecom). From menu choose properties.
. On the tab General take off the mark near Use area code and:
. On the tab Server types leave the mark only before TCP/IP
. Push 'OK'
Setup Windows 95/98:
. Make sure that Dial-Up adapter is installed if not you have installed
. Make sure that TCP/IP is installed. If not install it
. Make sure Dial-Up networking is installed if not install it. Check the Dial-Up networking settings validity
. Install and tune the browser
. Install and tune mail agent

Browser installation:
Before browser installation you have to choose what browser will be installed. We will not comment what is better Netscape or Explorer and will not give you advice, only you have to make you choice. It is better to download all the browsers from their homepages, but for some of them there are local copies on our ftp:

Proxy setup
For this:
Open menu Edit->Preferences
In Windows Category choose Advanced-Proxies
Choose Manual proxy configuration and push Vies button
In all fields Proxy server to use point proxy.iptelecom.net.ua and in the fields Port - 3128
Push Ok and then once more Ok.
Mail setup
Open menu Edit->Preferences
Choose Mail & Newsgroups ->Mail Server
Push 'Add' to add new server
In field Server name point mail.iptelecom.net.ua
In field Server type - POP3 server
In field User name - Your login
Push Ok
In filed Outgoing mail (SMTP) server point mail.iptelecom.net.ua
In field Outgoing mail server user name point your login name once more time
Push Ok
News groups setup
Open menu Edit->Preferences
Choose Mail & Newsgroups-> Newsgroups Servers
Push 'Add' to add new server
In field Server point news.iptelecom.net.ua
Push Ok twice
Internet Explorer 4.0 setup:
Proxy setup
We can recommend dispensable proxy setup, caching your requests on our server. For this:
Open menu Vies->Internet options
On Connection tab mark before Access the Internet using a proxy server
In field Address point proxy.iptelecom.net.ua, and in field Port - 3128
Push Ok
Mail setup
Here I suppose for reading you Internet mail an Outlook Express, included in full Internet Explorer set.
Open menu Tools->Accounts
Push Add->Mail button
Input the name which will appear on sending letters and push 'Next' button
Enter you e-mail address in form: login@iptelecom.net.ua and push 'Next' button
In fields Incoming mail server and Outgoing mail server point mail.iptelecom.net.ua, in field My incoming mail server is point - POP3 and push 'Next'
In field POP account name point your login and in field Password - a password. Push 'Next'
Enter created account name and push 'Next'
Choose connection with modem and push 'Next'
Choose modem with which it is necessary to establish connection and push 'Next'
Use available connection for connecting to IPTelecom or create new, push 'Next'
Push 'Finish'
Personal page allocation:
IPTelecom customer can allocate personal page on our server with address http://www.iptelecom.net.ua/~login free of charge. Page size at present is 50Mb
To create page you can any HTML-editor:
In future we will consider the page is ready and is located in folder system on your hard disk
Main file of the page - index.html. Names of files are case sensitive, all paths on your page, except external, should be relative to root directory of you page. Establish FTP connection with server ftp://ftp.iptelecom.net.ua obligatory with using your login and password.
Upload all files and folders from you hard disk to the server
Check result on the http://www.iptelecom.net.ua/~your_login
*Warning: It is suitable to make all file operations using FAR manager. You can take a copy on our FTP server.
